About the Role

Hays Fluid Controls is expanding in the Northeast and looking for a results-driven sales professional who knows how to win in spec-driven environments.

This is not a transactional sales role. You will be responsible for influencing engineers, securing specifications, and driving projects from design through close across key verticals like data centers and large commercial HVAC systems.

• Own the Spec – Drive specification sales with engineers, contractors, and owners across mission-critical projects

 • High-Growth Market – Focus on data centers, healthcare, and large commercial systems in the Northeast

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of B2B technical or construction-related sales

 • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets

• Experience with specification or long-cycle project sales preferred

 • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

 • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)

 • Ability to travel ~50%
