shock test per MIL-S-901C, Type A Test.

This equipment has been accepted as meeting the
H.I. shock requirements of MIL-S-901C dated 15 Jan.
1963 by Bureau of Ships letters Ser 648A 22-1906
dated 8 Sept. 1964 and 648A22-1986 dated 29 Sept.
1964."

Union Coupling "O" Rings material Viton.
Meets requirements of MIL-R-83248 Type 1 Class 1.
Brazing ring in accordance with QQ-B-654A-Class B
CUP-5.
Bolts meet requirements of MIL-B-857 Type II or
Type III Grade 5.
Nuts meet the requirements of MIL-B-857 - Type III
Grade 2.
Bronze Parts QQ-C-390B Alloy 836

 

This equipment is in accordance with specification mechanical type drawing 5000-S5901 1385801 piping chilled water, air conditioning diagramatic arrangement, revision "D" ships with the following exception.  Material spec. - calling for S.A.E. 622 or A.S.T.M. B-143 Alloy 2A, we will supply material to QQ-C-390B Alloy 836.
